Response to Program or to be Programed

Chapter 1

Doglass Rushkoff, he mentioned in chapter 1, he said 'After reading everyones responses, you would then decide whether you wanted to add somethingand either compose it on the spot, or write the response offline and then come back and paste it in later or even the next day'. It is so true, email provides us more and more time to deeply think about what we want to response or what kind of words should be write down in the email, you can take a long day to think about that, I think this is really good for us, especially for me, because I am a shy girl and sometimes I need take little more time to close up with someone. Because of that it reminds me about one App named Wechat, it is from my country China, this is really popular in my country, it little bit like Line, but not very, you can send voice mail and wait for your friend to give you response, sometimes if you do not know what to say, you can keep the message and think about it for a day or the next day. The most important thing is you can link with you bank and when you go shopping you can just show your QR code, they just scan it, then you pay for the goods, even you can use Wechat to buy some products in a small market, in my opinion, technology world provide us more and more convinces.

He also said "Cell phone users now complain of phantom vibration syndrome, the sensation of a cell phone vibrating on your thigh, even though theres no phone in your pocket." In my view, I think this is a very bad thing for human life, one side cell phone brings lots of convinces to us, the other side it also brings some bad effect, like you feel it vibrating but actually nothing there, this is not good for human life and health, just like if we spend much more time on watching TV or using computer, it is bad for our eyes.

Chapter 2

It is so true, net world indeed create a relationship with strangers, he mentioned 'But for students and a school who have already spent the time, money, and energy to get to a real classroom at a real college, why throw all that away for video game version of engagement?' In my view, I guess those students like playing video game, because they has psychological illness, during my BFA study, I took a class named Abnormal Psychology, it described that why some people spent much more time on video games, because they are afraid of making friend and talking to others that's why they spent time with themselves.
