1. Kylie Peppler (July 2013) has claimed that although creative coding can be used to create a wide array of genres, including animations, digital stories, music, simulations, and interactive art, one of the most well-defined uses of creative code it to create video games. Immensely popular with today;s youth, game design is the relatively recent addition to the field of arts education. I very agree with that, one of my favorite video game is called Minecraft. Brain Hught (2016) has claimed that Metcraft is the first step in developing the Minecraft gaming platform as a teaching and outreach tool. It is intended to serve as a proof of concept that shows Minecraft can be a useful tool to create fun and creative educational museum experiences. /Metcraft's ultimate goal is to foster a spirit of independent exploration and experimentation in young museumgoers both before and after they visit The Met.Minecraft is a popular multiplayer online gaming platform. It enjoys roughly 27 million players worldwide, 43.7% of whom are between ages of 15 and 21, and 20.5% are under 15 years old. It's a bit like virtual Legos. I like this idea. Also, my favorite part is the open-ended "creative mode," I can create a lot of interesting artworks in this mode. Also, I feel like this could be a new way of teaching new media art in the class, especially for students who don't like painting and drawing, they will explore more interesting ideas in art.

2.A new culture of learning.
In this book, it talks about a lot of different way of learning, the click here to start learning part gave a strong impression because I can know that learning is not only about get a technique skill. In the forums, Tom found support among fellow diabetics. In my opinion, this online chat room can help people to know the knowledge of diabetes, also they can make a lot of friends in this web. I believe this is a new culture of learning, learning is not only in the classroom, but it can also happen in everywhere.

8/2 Description of my stop motion
Title: woman and fish
Medium: color papers, magazines
Descriptions: This work is named woman and fish, the reason why I have this idea is based on one of my painting work. I did that painting in 2014, I don't know why, I just want to paint a fish with bicycle, and I showed my works to my foundation year instructor at CAFA, he was surprised, and he asked me is that based on the words from British" woman need a man, just like a fish need a bicycle." I was surprised too because I had never heard about it before, my instructor told me 100 years old in British that was woman's slogan. So this stop motion work is from this painting work, it a relationship between woman and fish.

7/3 Response for The Act of Listening
This is podcast gave me a very an big impressioin, because before I started to listen this podcast, I thought is more about art movement in sound art, but I was totally wrong. This prodcast started from Lee Allen Jones work in 1993, this is firsrt-person storytelling from two African American teenages, it is a new way to listen to each others. Moreover, I like Honor Harder's work to, she is a sound artist.Few years ago she started to hear the space' The Big Bang', I was very suprised about this, because it is easy to tell people what is looks like but it is hard to tell what it sounds like. Also Thomas Waston said ear is can be incredibly effective detective of patterns, I really agree with that. I think there are tremendous potential in sound art, because sound is very mysterious, I noticed that when you think about something or speak to yourself, thoes are from your mental activity, but you still are able to hear about your own voice without speak it out. Also Bease on Dave works, I agree wtih him too, I think listen to people is vital, because if you won't listen and won't try to make a conversation with others, you will never know what are they think about it.
7/2 Reflections
Sound always exerts a particular fascination on me, because when you close your eyes, you are able to see nothing, but you still can hear the sounds which is around you, I feel like this is like a magic, also sound are very different with visual image. When I walk around my neighborhood, I close my eyes to listen for a while, I just realized that there are so many interesting sounds around me, even an unconspicuous action are very interesting too and it all could be part of my sound project. Also I did some reserche about sound art, 'In Western art early examples include Luigi Russolo's Intonarumor or noise intoners, and subsequent experiments by Surrealist the Situationist International, and in Fluxus happenings. Luigi Russolo (30 April 1885 – 6 February 1947) was an Italian Futurist painter, composer, builder of experimental musical instruments, and the author of the manifesto The Art of Noises(1913).Luigi Russolo (30 April 1885 – 6 February 1947) was an Italian Futurist painter, composer, builder of experimental musical instruments, and the author of the manifesto The Art of Noises(1913).'
In my opinion, Luigi's sound artworks are very unique and I believe this is trying to break the traditional art and music style at that time. Art is trying to break the traditional way of doing art, because of Marcel Duchamp, I think art is changing, hence the art edcation should change to, because if art education still followed the old way of teaching, it is hard to explore more and more avant garde artists. Furthermore, I want to make a lesson plan based on this concept, I would like to ask students to paint something according to the music, like I will play music, from classical music to pop music and some are from students background, like some music from Japan, China and etc. While they are listening to this music, they should close their eyes and then after the music is finish, pick up one or more than one music which give you a strong impression, then start to paint based on this music, It could be a representational artworks or abstract painting. But must put some elements from your own culture in your artworks. This class is more focusing on how to do your artworks more freedom and by spontaneously, because in my opinion, art is not about how to obtains a mastery technique skills, it is more about how to explore yourself. Based on Sigmund Freud’ structural model of the psyche define the three parts of the psychic apparatus id, Ego and Superego. The id is the primitive and instinctive component of personality. According to the id, I want to help students to explore their id in this art class, think about how to doing art by their nature. Furthermore, the reason why music combined with art, because I want to develop their potential creativity.

6/1 Video
This work is based on Meshes of the Afternoon, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hs6vYjwEIy4, this is an experimental movie. For my video, is about my night dream but based on experimental movie style, I want to show a feeling of my night dreams.
6/2 Describe the creative potential of video and what it can do for art classrooms or education in general
The video is very interesting work. First you need to have a plan, and then, you decide where your should start it and where your should end it, also you need to consider about the sounds, what kind of music is suit for your video and when you are doing editing, you have to think about which part should go first and which part need to be deleted. In my opinion, it is not that easy to do video works, because every single part you need to pre-plan it.
The creative potential of video:
In my view, the video is a logical work, and I think it can collaborate with other fields, for instance, it will be work for installation, fashion work or bio art. Because nowadays, more and more people know how to make the video and this is an essential skill, we don't need to do video in contemporary art; we should create more and more different things, try to break the traditional way of doing video.
For art classroom:
I think for kids, we can start from stop-motion first, this is not only about video, but it is also video and photography and children will be confident of making stop motion, it is easy to learn.

5/3 Three take-aways from the section-readings
1. Based on the New literacies and social practices of digital remixing, I know remix is not only for music, it also can work in movie, writing, images and the like, especially, in movie it describe that "You go see a movie by Michael Moore [or whoever] and then you whine to your friends about how it is the best movie you have ever seen or the worst movie ever made. What you are doing is taking Michael Moore’s creativity and remixing it in your life. You are using it to … extend your own views or criticize his views. You are taking culture and practicing this art of remixing. Indeed, every single act of reading and choosing and criticizing and praising culture is in this sense remix. And it is through this general practice that cultures get made." In my opinion, people are doing remixing everyday, because when you got a new ideas or new feelings, it always by what you just saw or just read, for an artist, ideas are coming from everywhere, it may come into your mind when your are swimming or you are fishing or from your day dreaming, so I think when an artist creates a new work, it is a remix action, because the new concept is not immediately jumped into their mind, it always based on what they saw it before, or they give a new critique from something or a designer design a new technology, so that's why I think, people are doing remixing everyday.
2. THE NEW DIGITAL ARTS: FORMS, TOOLS, AND PRACTICES, nowadays, technology world provide people a new lifestyle and it also break lot of traditional things, such as in Visual Arts,Comics and Manga, Digital Photography,Dance,Digital Music,Drama,Film, Video, and YouTube,Podcasting and Digital Radio, Animation, Machinima, Creative Writing,FanFiction and Digital Poetry & Spoken Word. All these things let young people share their work, receive immediate feedback from peer groups, and gain access to experts who can help them hone their craft.I really agree with that, like the Brushes APP, this is a very successful APP, people can draw and paint everywhere and don't need to carry all of your art materials, you just open your phone and can quickly record your ideas immediately.
3.Digital Story Production, I had 1 year experiences of doing video art, and I created lot of video works during my senior year at SVA, I really like doing video art, in the beginning, it is so hard to learn about Final Cut Pro and I was always failed in this software but based on this reading article, I would suggest my students start with IMOIVE first, because it is easy to learn and it won't destroy your enthusiasm with video art.

5/2 Potential of scanography for art making or classroom teaching
Scanography creating a new way of doing art, in my opinion, the concept of scanography is to break the traditional way of doing art, everything can be art not only painting and drawing. Just like Marcel Duchamp's artwork, 'Fountain', the piece was a porcelain urinal, which was signed "R.Mutt" and titled Fountain. I believe this concept will change artists to create more and more new form of artworks in the future, it helps artists to open their minds and let artists and designer know art is not just about painting and drawing, it could be anything. Furthermore, it also can help students to know the same concept, the will feel more free to doing art and build up students creativity. In the classroom, also students ideas of doing scanography can light up more interesting things, teachers are able to learn some crazy ideas from them, it won't like a traditional art classroom, teachers and students will influence each other and students not only learn skills from teachers, their ideas also can teach art teachers to enhance their class.

3/3 Digital photography: Three connections to children
Digital photography is very different with painting and drawing because it more focuses on subtraction, but painting and drawing are a focus on adding more things. So it is two different way to think about how to make art.
1.Children are very interested in new things, they like to explore new materials, so I think this will be a new way to let them know about art, let them know art is not only about drawing and painting, all those traditional way, anything could be art, art is everywhere, a design of light, a design of chair, etc. Let them know anything they are making could be art, there is no exact answer for what is art.this is trying to break the traditional way to art teaching, children will feel very exciting to doing with new things and explore it by themselves.
2. Children always can give us a big surprise, because they are trying to explore the world, they are very creative and they always have a really logical thinking. Children can start digital photography from Fisher-Price Kid-Tough Digital Camera, because this is really easy to learn and children will feel they can do it,also it can boost children's self-esteem.
3. Some of the children, they are not very good at painting and drawing, but if they know how to take a photo, they still are able to explore more artworks, they can take a photo for their classmates, their family or their neighborhood. It allows children to display their potentiality.

1/3 Part Two
I asked my friend did this feedback of my ideas, he likes the first idea, because he mentioned in the feedback, the first idea reminds him of 'Antonioni’s film Blow Up', I think this is very interesting, Blow Up is one of my favorite movies and we just talked about this in class, also he think there’s absolutely mystery and danger hides in the beauty and things are always not that simple as the way they look. But he thinks it lacks some clue to help the audience to figure out this is a crime scene. I really agree with that, I need to fix more.
2/3 Impact 25
Impact 25
Group Project Wei Wang,Nicholas and Ned
Name: Lying Project
Concept: Ask 25 people to write down a lie, and after that we will create a human size box like a confessional and put speakers inside of it. The viewer can listen to all the confessions "lies" we collect, we thinking about to read all the lies by us.

1/3 Part 1: Two Ideas
For my picture, I took it at school basement, I want to use a different way to look at the staircase, so I stand in the basement and looked up to see the staircase, I was surprised about that view, it looks very surrealism and minimalism, so I press the shutter immediately.
Based on this photo I got following two ideas.
Idea 1:
Title: Daisy
First, I really like surrealist art and minimalist design, all of my artworks are those two artistic styles, so that's why I took this photo like that. The story of this image is based on Agatha Christie's crime story, because when I was 12 years old,I was very fascinated with all of her stories, it always gave me a big surprise in the end of her novel. I am planning to do an installation with this image and put lots of daisy flowers around a room or a small box with this image and daisy flowers. The image will be put on the wall or the box, and put lots of daisy flowers on the ground or in the box, it will look like Robert Gober's artwork like the following image, he is one of my favorite artists and this work concept is a relationship between photography and installation. The reason why it named Daisy because it has double meanings one is a name of a girl and the other one is a name of a flower, I want to express a feeling of a crime, but I won't tell you the ending, you will be free to imagine about this story.
Title: Daisy
The other idea about this image, I want to use iPad to show this image on the wall and put a wood case to cover the iPad and in the middle e of the case, I will make a small hole in order to let people look this image through this small hole. I want to show a feeling like a peep through the keyhole like you are peeping at a crime scene by accident.
